Equipment

working in snow

MARCOR's in-house equipment is well maintained and ready for emergency response needs.

In the environmental contracting business, you must use the right tools for the job. We consider the site-specific health and safety issues, the ever-challenging demands of new laws and regulations, and bottom-line cost effectiveness in order to match and mobilize the correct equipment for the project. MARCOR believes that its customers (and its employees) deserve the best. That’s why we stay on top of the latest the industry has to offer, from our Guzzler™ vacuum loaders that can quickly and safely pick up a variety of hazardous products and containerize them for disposal, to a state-of-the-art drill rig that can be configured for virtually any geotechnical drilling application. Occasionally, our in-house experts even adapt equipment used in other industries to the specialized needs of the environmental contracting field.

Our Design/Fabrication/R&D division continually evaluates new equipment. When appropriate, our engineers actually design and build specialized equipment and systems that are not available on the market. For example, we invented a water collection system that recovers 90 percent of the water used in hydroblasting applications and filters it down to .5 microns. We have designed new techniques for cutting open storage tanks for cleaning. And we have built a custom floor tile machine (for hazardous asbestos tile or wood plank removal) that can safely accomplish the equivalent of thirty workers, in significantly less time. Our patented Pneumatic Separation Unit (PSU) recovers spent bullets from firing range soil and debris, so the heavy metal can then be sent to a smelter for recycling and financial gain to our customer. The list goes on.
