MARCOR guarantees customer satisfaction on every project, for every customer. Past experience and current capabilities [SIN 899-8 and 899-8(RC)] include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Excavation, removal, and disposal of hazardous waste
- Site preparation, characterization, field investigation, conservation, and closures
- Wetland restoration
- Emergency response cleanup
- UST/AST removal
- Soil vapor extraction
- Stabilization/solidification, bio-venting, carbon absorption, reactive walls, containment, monitoring, and/or reduction of hazardous waste
- O&M of hazardous waste facilities, including training and preparation of manuals
- Disaster preparation and recovery work (includes demolition and asbestos/lead abatement)
- Mold remediation
- Other environmental services

MARCOR's GSA Schedule rates are very favorable to the government and are better than MARCOR's most favored customer (MFC) rates. These labor rates are fully burdened and include the Industrial Funding Fee (IFF) in accordance with clause 552.238-74 Industrial Funding Fee and Sales Reporting (July 2003) paragraph (b) (2). Labor categories for this Schedule include the following:
Project Manager
Bids and executes successful projects. Responsible for day-to-day execution including safety, cost control, and customer satisfaction on his/her projects. Bachelor of Science in Business, Construction Management, or Environmental Science preferred but not required. Requires 3-6 years progressive experience in construction or environmental project management; experience is acceptable in lieu of degree. EEO Category – 4-A
Site Supervisor
Supervises all work on assigned environmental remediation projects. Obtains a complete understanding of job requirements from meetings/conversations with the Project Managers, Operations Managers, Assistant Operations Managers, customers, and/or customers’ agents. Refers to specifications and plans as needed. Directs the work of on-site remediation technicians. Requires a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory position in an abatement/remediation/construction industry. Also requires high school diploma or equivalent. EEO Category – 6 -A
Equipment Operator
Operates heavy equipment such as matriculating dump trucks, backhoes, bobcats, forklifts, and other equipment in order to safely and effectively move materials on project sites. Requires high school diploma or equivalent and at least 4 years of experience operating heavy equipment, preferably on environmental projects. EEO Category – 6 - A
Skilled Remediation Technician
Performs environmental remediation on project sites in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. Conducts tests, field investigations, and uses field instruments to obtain data for use by environmental/scientific personnel in determining sources and methods of controlling pollutants in air, water, and soil and monitor work on site. High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in environmental remediation are required. Also requires 40-Hour HAZWOPER training and other OSHA-required training. EEO Category – 7-A
